Client- ZEV Spa
Assignment- To re-create a logo for a small boutique spa in Sri Lanka by the name of ZEV.
Above was the first representation of my thoughts after reading the brief. It described a small boutique spa by the seaside on the East Coast of Sri Lanka. The Chinese characters were significant to the proprietor, and had to be included.
This one is a playful response of the same brief. Emphasising that it lay by the sea side, the ZEV on the top half reflects as SEA. After some exploration, I understood the East Coast to be a progressive region of the country, which appealed to young professionals as residents, Allowing myself some freedom of expression, the image also tricks the mind to read the word SEX.
